How to Install TiviMate

TiviMate turns an IPTV playlist into a remote-friendly TV experience. Install the player on Android TV, Google TV, or a compatible Fire TV device, add credentials supplied by your IPTV service, and configure the program guide and favorites. TiviMate is only a media player. It does not include channels, movies, or an IPTV subscription.

What You Need Before Installing TiviMate

Prepare the following before opening the app:

  • An Android TV or Google TV television, streaming box, or compatible Fire TV device
  • A stable internet connection
  • An M3U playlist URL or Xtream Codes login from a service you are authorized to use
  • An EPG URL if the service does not attach guide data automatically
  • Enough free storage for the app, guide data, and recordings

TiviMate is designed for large screens and remote controls. It is not optimized for touchscreen phones or tablets. Premium unlocks additional app functions, but it still does not supply content.

How to Install TiviMate on Android TV or Google TV

The app-store method is the simplest and safest option.

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your TV or streaming device.
  2. Search for “TiviMate IPTV Player.”
  3. Confirm that you selected the genuine app, then choose Install.
  4. Wait for installation to finish and select Open.
  5. Allow any permissions the app reasonably needs for its features.

If the app does not appear, check that the device actually runs Android TV or Google TV. Some televisions use a different operating system despite supporting familiar streaming apps. Check for system updates, restart the device, and search again.

How to Install TiviMate on a Fire TV Stick

TiviMate may require sideloading on Fire TV, which means installing an Android package outside the device’s app store. Only use the developer’s verified download route.

  1. Search the Fire TV app store for Downloader and install it.
  2. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
  3. If Developer Options is hidden, open About, highlight the device name, and press the select button seven times.
  4. Open Install Unknown Apps and allow Downloader.
  5. Launch Downloader and enter the current official TiviMate Downloader code, 272483.
  6. Download the package, choose Install, and open TiviMate when installation completes.
  7. Delete the downloaded installation file to recover storage.
  8. Return to Install Unknown Apps and disable Downloader’s permission.

Menus vary slightly by Fire OS version. Some newer Fire TV models block sideloading entirely. If your model provides no supported way to allow unknown apps, use a compatible Android TV or Google TV device instead.

How to Add an IPTV Playlist

On first launch, TiviMate displays Add Playlist. Later, find the same option under Settings > Playlists > Add Playlist. Use the method matching the details supplied by your service.

Set Up Xtream Codes

Choose Xtream Codes when you have a server address, username, and password.

  1. Enter the server address exactly, including its protocol and port if supplied.
  2. Enter the username and password without extra spaces.
  3. Select the content types to include, such as live channels, movies, or series.
  4. Choose Next, give the playlist a recognizable name, and finish processing.

This method can import channel groups, on-demand sections, and guide information together when the service supports them.

Set Up an M3U Playlist

Choose M3U Playlist when you received one complete playlist URL or a local M3U file.

  1. Enter the full URL exactly as supplied, or select the stored file.
  2. Choose Next and name the playlist.
  3. Wait while TiviMate processes the channel list.
  4. Add the matching EPG URL separately if the TV guide remains empty.

Playlist links often contain account credentials. Keep them private and never enter them on untrusted websites.

Configure the TV Guide and Channel List

An EPG, or electronic program guide, adds program names and schedules to the channel grid. Xtream Codes may load it automatically. For a separate guide, open Settings > EPG, add the supplied EPG source, assign it to the correct playlist, and run an update.

If listings are missing, refresh both the playlist and EPG. A downloaded guide can leave channels blank when its identifiers do not match the playlist. Check the device’s time zone if every listing appears shifted equally.

Mark regular channels as favorites, hide unwanted groups, and reorder categories. Doing this early reduces scrolling and makes a large playlist easier to use.

How to Watch and Control Playback

Open the TV guide, highlight a channel, and press the center or select button to play it. Press Back to return to the guide. A long press usually opens channel options, while the menu button shows actions such as favorites, search, recent channels, or guide controls.

Catch-up works only when the service supports archived programs. Recording depends on the stream and available storage. Choose a writable location with sufficient space, keep the device powered, and remember that playing and recording multiple streams may require more than one connection.

Premium features can include multiple playlists, recording, multiview, parental controls, customization, and backups. Features may change by version or plan, so check the screen shown on your device before purchasing.

Fix Common TiviMate Problems

Try these checks in order:

  • Playlist will not load: Re-enter the server address or M3U URL, remove accidental spaces, confirm the account is active, and restart the router and device.
  • Channels appear but do not play: Test another channel, refresh the playlist, and ask the service whether its stream or your connection limit is affected.
  • Guide says “No information”: Update the EPG, confirm it is assigned to the playlist, and verify the time zone.
  • Frequent buffering: Use Ethernet when possible, reduce other network traffic, restart equipment, and test a lower-quality stream.
  • App feels slow: Close background apps, clear TiviMate’s cache rather than its data, and free device storage.
  • Settings disappeared: Restore a recent backup if available. Clearing app data or uninstalling can remove local playlists and customizations.

Use TiviMate Safely

Install updates through the official app store or verified developer channel. Avoid modified packages, unofficial “premium” versions, and random download codes because they may be outdated or unsafe. Use only playlists and streams you have permission to access. TiviMate organizes and plays supplied media, but it does not make an unauthorized source legal.

Once installation, playlist setup, EPG, and favorites are complete, TiviMate is straightforward to use. Keep credentials private, back up a customized setup, and troubleshoot the playlist, guide, network, and device as separate parts.
